December 18, 1999

It's hard to believe it would have been ten years since that wonderful day. I miss Nate more and more with each passing hour.

Morgan and Landon are doing so great. They are what keeps me going.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Don't take for granted those closest to you.
Love,
Deb

Ten years, it was such a beautiful day. The strength, love and support that Nate and you had for God and eachother shone so bright that day and just got brighter each and every day that followed.

Dear Deb, I look at the pics of Morgan and Landon and see the similarities to Lin Siddon's girls
and grandkids - all beautiful gifts
from the dear Lord. Give them hugs
for me. God bless each of you with
his joy and peace as you remember
Nate on his birthday. Our love and
prayers are with you now as ever. In His heart, Ginny Bernstorf a good friend of the Siddons.

Dear Deb,

Was thinking of Nate today. I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew him through auto-crossing, but I liked him as a friendly competitor.

I hope you and your family are doing well.

Deb,
I found your memorial on the Melanoma.org site and it led me here. I am not sure how often you check this site - but I wanted you to know how touching your story is... I am living with someone on the journey right now and so afraid of what is to come.
Sharing your story and reading your journey somehow gives me peace - not peace with the prospect of loss, but that it was so clear that you journeyed together and I am certain Nate felt your strength, presence and love. He fought and walked this road with such dignity and courage - that is clear.
I hope we are able to do the same.
I send you my very best regards, and support - I hope you are doing well now and continuing to live with Nate's presence through all whom he touched during his life.
Sincerely,
Erin Rapallini

Deb,

I went on an F cancer bicycle ride today and was thinking about Nate. Whenever I'm in church and people talk about the power of prayer I remember how hard we prayed for Nate to get better and the prayers weren't answered. Someday if I ever get the chance I want to talk about that in some kind of sermon how it's important to pray, and sometimes it works out, but that it's God's will. Nate's testament to God's love even through his terrible disease was inspiring. Hope you and the kids are doing well. Chris.
